You're not supposed to crab in the months with "R" in them - we are talking about southern hemisphere or what species of crab?

I live in Oregon and Dungeness Crab and Red Rock Crab can be caught the year round off of piers and docks. The months with an "R" in them does not come into play.

I used to have a shrimp trap, it was pretty fun to head out at night and come back with a big bucket of shrimp. Once I got two edible size crabs that crawled in there too.
