Nice! Always been a fan of space pictures.

Someone in an earlier thread said that being a pilot changes your view of the world, I view space pics in the same way.

dlex 03-05-2003 11:52 PM

what did you use to take that pic BV?

Kris 03-05-2003 11:57 PM

I really need to do something with that domain....

I like space pics as well, maybe some day when I get more time I'll get a big telescope setup with a camera attatchment and try to get some good stuff.

I was using my canon d-30 with a 1200mm quantaray lens.

Oh,
and a super long distance flash, lol

Here's one I took of Jupiter near the Moon. Taken on the night of Sept. 11, 2001...

I don't care if it's a composite, I'd really like to have a desktop-sized version of the first picture.
It's awesome.

my sentiments exactly.

Man's first piss on the moon.

One of the most controversial pics. There is no wind on the moon yet the American flag in many shots is fluttering. Shadows in cross directions. No burn marks under the rocket pad. Was the entire moon landing staged in a Hollywood Studio? Many people think so.
