The series continues to add new characters from the comic book, to develop the characters we've followed through the zombie apocalypse for three and a half seasons now, and to be willing to kill off even a major, beloved character every once in a while.

To be honest I have never fallen in with The Walking Dead... watched only first 2 episodes of 1st serie and meh..

it feels like I watched each episode already since the zombies just keep coming, what story line...the show ran its course in my opinion.

so fucking lame after about 4 episodes of season 1...fun 4 episodes though..but how much stupid zombie shit can you endure - its for 14 year olds

It does seem to be moving much slower then prevous seasons. They're dragging it out a bit but overall I still enjoy the show. It seems to happen to every hit show. I remember the same thing happening to the last few seasons of Lost also.

Currently - believable, but most successful ever? Impossible to believe....

I lost interest at the end of second season when the one cop knocked up the other cops wife... Too much silly drama for me.

I only liked the pilot episode, think its been pretty terrible since then. I keep watching though as I really want to like it as I love zombies but I just find myself constantly checking the time to see how long is left.

Excuse me but the show is just starting to get good. Did you see this bitch cut the heads off a crowd of zombies this season? Freaking awesome. Plus I think she is going to take the Sherrif's son's virginity. I think she likes the white guys.

They kill the momentum of the season when they pull that "mid season finale" bullshit, so far that's my only gripe with this season.

That is my only complaint with it. I am fine with the slower pace and I am fine with the heavy character development. To me the show is less about zombies and more about what you do when everything you have ever had is taken from you.

But when they give us a handful of episodes then take two months off only to then give us another handful of episodes and take 6 months off it annoys me. I would rather they just run them all back to back like most shows do.

Same here, I could not care less if they would not meet many zombies.. I do not get people complaining about not enough zombie action or killings.
When I get to zombie action scene I usually wonder off and check my phone or something till the show resumes.
I think those who are all about more action do not appreciate tv shows in general. Just take any average show with lots of action and thee you have it :1orglaugh

I don't like seeing cars produced in years after the apocalypse. I don't like seeing mowed fields around a prison empty for years. Bla bla bla

It's about post apocalyptic survival. Zombies are just the infinite force that cannot be overcome. It could be sickness, natural disaster, etc, zombies are just popular these days.

As season 2 taught us, just having zombies is pretty boring once you are established, and you would want it boring too (if you were trying to survive). Season three was vastly better due to humans will always manage to be more fucked up and evil then some mindless zombie horde

And no I'm not a prepper, I just like video games in related settings like Fallout.

I still enjoy it although I am glad they moved on from the Governor and prison story arc. A lot of people complained during the season when they were on the farm which I liked too. Things are moving now in a new direction with some more characters just introduced from the comic.

I think any time Kirkman writes an episode, you know you're in for a sucky time. He should stick with comic book dialogue.

Most successful?! I would have never expected that. And sad to hear this since there are many great dramas.

I still love it. Saw only 2 episodes from the new series but looks fine for me.

Exactly - they should be able to deal with these two things but one of their sponsors is the car producer so the car has to be clean and functional - the grass, that should be computer generated.

The other thing is where all the zombies are coming from and how have they survived? There's no magic, so what sustains them for years? The virus that infects the ants (on which the premise is based) doesn't keep them alive indefinitely without energy.

I know its a show but at least try at it.
