According to GoDaddy, that domain expired a month ago and, according to Google, it has a PageRank of unranked?

It's a 16 year old domain and was in exceptional standing when I purchased it.

@armysmoke: I am just as baffled as you are bro :upsidedow, I've been doing research on this domain for a few days now, just decided to grab it through godaddy auctions and was the winning bidder for a change..lol. I know it had more backlinks but it was expired and pending deletion before I scooped it up right in the nick of time. I wasn't as lucky when I bought live-video-sex.com last week which was registered in 1995 and had killer pagerank as well. By the time I tried to get live-video-sex com it ended up being deleted already :[ oh well.


@AmeliaG: It may have expired a month ago and was pending renewal via auction before being deleted. It got put up for auction and I happened to grab it before it got deleted. If I had bought it brand spankin new once deleted, the creation date would be fresh and it would of lost its pagerank. If you haven't noticed, I even took snapshots and attached them.



I am open to chat and offer a possible joint venture with anyone who deals in flipping domains or brokering. If you have contacts or feel you can sell this, I'm very flexible and am open for discussing a nice % split.

Never does it fail that anytime I put up a sales thread, someone is always claiming things that aren't true. The worst part is, most of the time they didn't do the research and educate themselves on the current topic that they are slandering in attempts to ruin sales.

I forgot to mention that the alexa is like that because it's a parked domain. Alexa is just an estimate based off traffic flow. Slut-City has been parked a while , all it takes is to throw a website on it with some nice content, minor onpage seo and maybe a few backlinks and itll rank quick. Thats the power of an aged PR8 domain. Facebook is what, PR9? Lol.

with your PR, you should wait until the next PR update before you try to sell it

It's somewhat amazing that some folks didn't think it was obvious enough that it required actual "proof" using common sense and basic tools. You ought to just start a "screening service" for people considering buying domains as you have the patience for it.

I'm not kidding. "Validated by Zdeneczek" could be lucrative considering how often these types of thing seems to come up these days. And based on some of the responses in various threads, it's clear a lot of people simply do not know how to validate things for themselves.

I did not catch that but regardless, the guy who used to own this domain does not own universitas21, I've used about 15 different tools trying to match it. Also, I now see that there are other 301's redirecting to other sites from universitas21, which most of these do not have much age at all and most do not have any PR. I'd still like to get in touch with the site admin and figure out what's up but the PR is solid.

It took you 5 replies to tell me my domain is fake and worthless? Are ya Butthurt much? Please elaborate on what fake pr is to you? Even if I have the redirect removed, the pagerank isn't going to disappear entirely. You didn't mention once that it is 16+ years old which is a big factor. Alexa, if you pay attention to alexa and go off those stats entirely then you need to step off and take a crash course in IM/SE. You're quick to bash me on a pr8 redirect but did you look closer? Did you follow up on the rest of the sites linked and redirected? Didn't think so.

GD auctions are full of those high fake PR domains, hope you didn't pay more than 10 bucks for it.

you must be a complete moron if you think this domain with barely any incoming links to it has legit PR8 whereas the biggest adult sites with tens of thousands legit backlinks are PR5 at most.

PS the alexa is now 2.6 mill worldwide. If this were a fake, I wouldn't of touched it with a 100 foot pole.

I'm certainly not trying to be contentious here, but I think you may to look a little closer. If you look at the Wayback Machine, (archive.org) for your domain, you can see the following for January 10, 2014

That 302 redirect has been in place as far back as July 20, 2013, pointing to the original PR8 page. Prior to that, for about 10 years, the domain was pointed to Amanda's Teen Porn (again, according to archive.org). By the snapshots recorded, it has not done anything except redirect or point to another domain for more than a decade.

Good luck with your sale, but I'll be awfully surprised if someone gives you $20k for it. Personally, I don't think it will survive the next PR update, unless it uses a 302 redirect again of course.

I appreciate the feedback buddy, I completely understand and figured for what I paid in auction for this it was worth the risk. It jumped up 22,000,000 to 2.4 mill over night once it was released to my account after the 5 day grace period.

I did do a heck of a lot of research and as you mentioned the waybackmachine I had browsed through all the years on slut-city but I just couldn't pass this up. I've been doing this a long time and I've seen it all and have failed quite a few times myself but it's a learning experience. If worst case scenario this drops its PR, I still see this as an experiment and a lesson. So far so good though.

I'm testing with a basic wordpress default template on it and a couple articles with a backlink in each. I'm praying it survives the update and stays where it's at because I'm getting ridiculously good results and fast using this for bumping some of my other sites up . Gotta build some more links to slut-city now and trying to keep it natural looking as possible.

I've never owned a PR8 and am still ecstatic over it, I did get an offer from a broker today who has a client that has a budget of $329,000 to invest in domains and wants an asking price which has me really nervous and at a crossroad..

If you'd like to help me negotiate with this broker, I'll make it worth your time(by means of splitting a percentage of the sale) and also if you or anybody have some good domains that you're willing to sell for the right price, I'll propose your premium domains along with my own since the guy is looking to buy/invest in multiple domains of good worth.

Sounds like the scam where they act like they're gonna buy your domain but before they do they tell you that you'll need to have the name appraised.

I got one about two months ago with 100K budget for a client. I was offered 30K for 3 domain names that I was going to put on ebay.

These scams are still around and people still fall for them.
