Paxum - Chip And Pin - Need Answers...
I asked this years ago - What are you doing about Chip And Pin?..
I need to renew again soon - Will I get a Chip and Pin card?.... Last time I asked I was told 'We are looking into it' - Or something similar - That was ages ago... I can use the card in less and less places every day here in London - One cash machine in my suburb - In less than a year it will be in the US as well..... What's the story - Am I going to pay for a card I can only use on the internet?.. |

At this time we do not issue chip and pin cards. It will be implemented in the future and when that happens we will reissue the chip and pin card free of charge to customers who need to change it. Thanks, Ruth :) |

This year Australia is moving exclusively to chip and pin. It won't be long and we won't be able to use Paxum cards here.

Most European merchants, or at least the brick and mortar stores, will still be able to take non-chip cards... BUT the fees will about double, so the stores, restaurants and whatever not will do their very best to try to teach people that they do not accept non-chip cards. It is already becoming increasingly harder to use a non-chip card like Paxum everywhere in Europe that I have visited.

We need contactless cards! :thumbsup

You guys don't just use your Paxum cards at ATM's? It's really not the ideal card to swipe for POS transactions :Oh crap
