Feds grab Internet domain names

"In a series of raids in recent weeks, the Justice Department has extended such grabs to property that might seem esoteric but worry civil libertarians -- Internet domain names"

Fucking ridiculous. That's all I have to say about that. Anything more and I might accidentally raise the National alert level.

KRL 03-05-2003 11:11 PM

Don't worry. The Democrats will be back in power soon. The Republicans are blowing it bigtime and the people will not forget in the next election.

sextoyking 03-05-2003 11:38 PM

I hear you there!!

Us dems will hopefully be back in 2004.

"Critics of the Justice Department's recent moves also say they fear the government could use the new method to spy on Web surfers who visit confiscated sites."

That's great. Someone posted the link to ISONews here last week. Now the government is going to have logs of people coming from GFY which in turn will lead them here to see exploding and talking assholes, chicken fucking, dog fucking, gay fisting, and an array of other interesting and questionably obscene things. :thumbsup

I keep telling these people.. if they would just rid themselves of the religious nazi's and goons like a-s-h-c-r-o-f-t who strip our civil rights and privacy at every opportunity, I would vote Republican. And so would 1/2 the democrats I know.

Even if the iraq situation blows up, I am not sure there is any viable candidate who could legitimately challengefor the democrats.

Hopefully A shining beacon of light will emerge before the next election.

The last time people vote for a change for the sake of change Clinton was put in office with only 43% of the vote in 92. And he did nothing for eight years. But I suppose that is ok in a lot of peoples eyes as long as they look the other way on porn.

EscortBiz 03-06-2003 02:05 AM

anyone have a countdown to the next president script or counter, i want to see how many more days the country will have to suffer

rooster 03-06-2003 02:06 AM

Next election is fully computerized. No more hanging chads, no more embarrassing 'missing ballot boxes'... just good honest computerized voting.

Yeah, look where the 90's got us. The economy drop began while Clinton was in office, and continues because of what was going on under his watch.

Porn, now that's a different story.

"General Wesley Clark.

He was a four-star general and Supreme Allied Commander of NATO forces in Europe. He was a Rhodes Scholar and holds a master?s degree in philosophy, politics and economics from Oxford University.

Clark, 58, who graduated first in his class at West Point, has not yet issued a formal announcement declaring his interest.

Nonetheless, there is certainly interest in him.

And he is aware of that interest."

He's still at the "quietly meeting behind closed doors with top Democrats" stage, but man, I hope he runs!

Try again, dumbass. Did the Honorable Bill Clinton once utter the phrase "Deficit Spending." Did he ever mention "Structured Deficits for at least ten years." No he didn't.

G.W. came into a huge pile of money. Acted like a kid in a candy store and blew the whole wad. Now we are in debt until the next Clinton-esque President.

So because he didn't say anything, he didn't do anything wrong? The economy of the 90s was based largely on vaporware like the dot com industry, overvalued stock and criminal corporate accounting. I'm sure that all sounds great to you, huh? It was going to crash sometime, and started to do so at the end of 1998.
