WOT (Web of trust) -> Effect in Search Engines?

I always asked myself, if a negativ website rating at WOT has consequences in search engine rankings.

If many users give a website a bad rating, will search engines punish this sites? On the other hand, if a site is rated as trustworthy, will SE honor this?

i am not sure i understood you question correctly but google usually don't penalize website if users rate it poorly. They have many other ways to decide that. If a website has good user rating, it shows the website is useful to users. Hence, may get better ranking. Again, there are many other ways google decide what they should trust and what they shouldn't.

the idea behind the site is great , i write some honest reviews there but some people are feeding it with crap and dishonest reviews

also seen a lot of paranoid rating
