Toucan Scam - The Awful Horrible Truth About Froot Loops
 

Like millions of other kids I fell under the spell of Toucan Sam, the charismatic colorful mascot employed by Kelloggs to hawk Froot Loops to generations of sugar addicted children. "Follow your nose! It always knows!" What kid could resist a rainbow of fruit flavored crunchy candy in his cereal bowl? We trusted Toucan Sam, the red froot loops were sweet cherry goodness, the green ones were tangy lime yummy, orange a burst of cirtrus sunshine ............. or so we were led to believe.

I read the news today and my heart sunk, it had all been a scam.
