html5 or basic html?
Would you guys choose html5 for the public section of a paysite or just use plain html? Your opinion please. Thanks!

Always stick to html5.
Think about mobile devices, tablets .... More and more people use them. And plenty of them use chrome-browser, which displays sites in html5 much better. I never stay long on a website which looks crappy on my tablet and I never will visit the page again. Beside that, html5 is the future. |
html5 :thumbsup

html5 is obvious choice but it is not always responsive like how @hausarzt is implying; it is just coding friendly(e.g. like bootstrap code). You will still need to have responsive css with html5.

I meant, that chrome on android doesn't play flash. So if a website doesn't have a html5-player, the user can't see the video. Guess what this means for a tube site?! :winkwink: |
Thanks for your replies.
Any recommendations for a html5 player that I should use? |
