Western union busy in Valentine (and cam sites)
 

I had completely forgot we approach Valentine day until I seen extra cam sales. That's like this every year and I wished it's Valentine once a week. Better than xmas.

Western union is busy this week too, lots of male USA/West Euro cash -> into -> female East Euro, Colombia, Philippines. A studio just asked to close a camgirl account as he found a few wu receipts in her bag. That's nazi from studio pimp, as a cam site we don't care much. If we had to ban all the girls we caught showing piece of paper in video with her skype printed on (so it does not print in chat logs lol) we would have no models left.

The studio may have a rev share agreement with the model on cash gifts received, and she may not have honored that agreement. :2 cents: Also some models will take WU $ and do private sessions away from the Studio. Here is just two of several reasons why the Studio pulled the plug on her.

Yes there are various levels of this:

1) The model is instructed by the studio to steal guys from cam site and share the WU $ with studio, there model+studio rips off the site (and affiliate if anyone in rev-share). There the model can either: 1a, share WU with studio then the site hear nothing or 1b, hide WU from the studio then the model is punished/kicked (how, it depends by local culture and alcoholic level of the studio manager).

2) The model is warned by the studio not to steal guys from cam site (in fear to be banned as a whole studio - some sites are strict). Here, the model can get WU only in secret, since neither site or studio allowed this; then in case she's busted, various punishment options are in place. Most of the times she's busted because the (idiot) customer, will write in logged cam site chats something like: "have you received my western union?". In fact, the first thing the model should tell to the user it is: never mention WU's in cam site chat.

After a 1) or 2) bust, or just as matter of logic if not busted yet, a studio model should setup home, so not to share anything with studio boss. But those girls may live with parents or friends, so no privacy room, and no money to rent. In fact, often the WU's are requested in order to setup at home. However as soon as the guy stop sending the weekly WU's, the girls stop paying bills or rent, so return to the studio, or go to another who does not know her shady WU's past.

Still I would be curious what the % increase in transactions WU gets this week into Ro, Ru, Ua, Co, Ph countries. It must be a nice peak if follows the one I see in cam site.

I dont think that Western Union is the preferred way to receive money amount models anymore. I Think most have moved on to Payoneer ...
