Is 'Oldboy' a good movie?
 

Anyone see it, is it good, worth seeing or worth waiting for DVD release?

Watch the original Korean version. The Spike Lee version is a pale imitation.

Too much blood/body parts violation, I could not watch at certain times.

I didn't realize they remade it :( Doomed to fail. The now-original Korean one was amazing :thumbsup

Oldboy (2003) is great movie!

The original is amazing. Also it is the second part of a "trilogy" the other two movies in the "trilogy" (which have nothing to do with each other so the only thing that makes it a trilogy is that critics say it is) are also very, very good. The second one seems to have been the only clear commercial success of the three, but to me they are all amazing.

old old boy is EPIC, one of the best movies ive seen

Watch the original. It's on Netflix, I believe. Great movie. Most Korean films I've watched are of a very high quality with regards to writing, character development, and acting, actually. I highly recommend giving more of them a viewing.

the original is so fucking cool. The remake was a waste of time, don't bother with it.
