Mainstream - Competitors posting fake reviews and reputation reports
How do you deal with them?
I imagine it's not a big problem for big business but for small business (sites) it seems like you hardly can fight back. I've recently went after checking some of my sites in Google. There are dozens of sites reporting my websites are infected with malware, viruses etc and there are hundreds of negative reviews... lol I know some of these websites hardly had more than 50 customers yet they have like for example 500 negative reviews on some review sites. And of course my sites are completely secured. Security has always been for me important and I know that none of my sites had EVER such issues. What can be done? lol I have tried to remove it from some black shit lists but with completely no results. They won't remove it or they ask for like literally everything including scan of passport. Crazy shit. It seems impossible to do anything. But I guess I'm not only one with such problems, how about you? What do you think? |
This was the ORIGINAL business model for companies like Yelp?.Pay us or we won't delete the fake bad reviews?.
?now it's multiplied? good luck to you, sorry to hear this is happening?. |
You have to deluge the Internet with positive write-ups about your company and bury the false bad ones under a million positve write-ups.

However, it's not worthy doing it for these particular sites of mine because it would cost more time/money the sites are worth or that they could possibly bring in revenue. So, well, fuck it. But I'm surprised these report/review sites are working since years doing same shit to many other people and no one else went after their miserable ass yet. |
