Just wondered what the best methord is to set the site up to just supply 2 towns, rather than the whole country.

The plan is to sell local and deliver local.

So need to set the site up to do this.

Wouldn't be hard to accomplish this from the checkout system, writing a module that only allows shipping/billing on a set list of zipcodes. That should realistically only be about ten or so lines of code for a custom form validation function on the checkout form system.

However you'd need to ensure visitors were well aware of this fact before going through that process to avoid a terrible user experience for people getting all the way to checkout before finding out they cannot purchase.
