Woody Allen seems to be the rational voice in this entire sordid episode, and this includes the vast majority of comments I've read in this newspaper and others. It is almost as if people want to believe Woody is guilty whether he really is or not. I have no doubt that Woody Allen did not in any way abuse Dylan Farrow, but most people don't seem to care...for some reason they really, really want to believe that he did it. How sad.

I have no doubt that Woody Allen is innocent of this charge, hard to paint him as the victim but he is in this case. Mia Farrow is a crazy bitch and now I read in Allen's letter she has also thrown another one of her kids under the bus in her vendetta against Allen. She has suggested that the son they had together *might* be Frank Sinatra's not Allen's, so she is admitting she was banging Sinatra while with Allen and at a time when Sinatra was married to the woman who is now his widow - so she's dragged another family into the mess.

Reading the comments under Woody Allen's there's some woman claiming inside knowledge saying the file the NYC police have on the case contains damning evidence against Allen and that his own sister knows all the sordid details. Probably some NYC Jewish yenta gossip.

I didn't feel the need to post it, but I guess it should also be said:

I've read Woody's biography and there's no mention of the scandal in it, I listened to Mia Farrow's biography and it takes up a substantial portion. There was a chunk of Mia's audiobook where I could tell someone else had to read for her (probably too hard).

Not taking sides as I've seen it go both ways, I've seen women ruin kids over being vindictive.
Considering Woody's relationship with Soon Yee it's hard to completely pardon him.

Andre Previn was her father, he didnt help to raise. In fact in Mia's bio she talks about how Woody doesnt spend much time with her kids. They didnt live in the same house they lived across the street from each other.

This was investigated when this happened and there was nothing to prosecute him with. Her brother Moses came out, he is a therapist,was there the whole time and said this was bullshit.

Was it weird him dating and marrying Mia's daughter yes but it was weird from the start. They lived across the street from each other, he never spent the night.
