Call me the rainmaker (I guess)
Back in the late 80s there was a drought that was really messing with middle America's farmers. They had not had rain in months. I was taking a bike ride to Sturgis and blew off packing any foul weather because there was no way it was going to rain.
As fate would have it, wherever I went, it rained; some places it was so bad I would have to get a motel so I could dry my clothes. Fast forward to 2014. Northern California has been in a severe drought . . . up until I got here. It has not stopped! It isn't just drizzling, it is pouring. Locals have been asking me if I can stick around a couple months. I would be waterlogged if I did. |
Feel free to bring it back to socal. It would prolly be too much to ask to bring some thunder & lightning as well.

Haven't seen any of that up here.

Please visit Texas and get rid of this cold snap.

I'm your Canuck counterpart - the snowmaker.
My snowblower broke down a few weeks ago and since then we've been buried by the most snow we've had in a decade or more. And -30c temps haven't given me much ambition to tear it apart to replace the auger and drive belts. |
get a funky dress and make some cash :thumbsup

Was watching a couple of set-in-Los Angeles flicks recently- LA Confidential and High Anxiety, chuckled at the scenes in downpouring rain.
