Colin Powel´s speech
 

I just had dinner and was watching the news. They showed
sections from a speech which was held by Colin Powel. He said
no action has been taken by Iraq to disarm. Destroying a handfull
of missiles while they had intellenge info that in fact Iraq was not
destroying but producing new and more of the same missiles in
underground factories.......

I asked myself so why can´t they tell the UN where those
factories are. I mean if they know that this is happening and
Coling Powel said we are SEEING activity in underground factories
they must know where they are....how could they else SEE
what´s going on?

I hour before Colin Powel´s speech Hans Blix gave a speech
stating the absolute contrary by saying that the destruction
of missiles IS a very clear sign of dissarming.

Bottom line is the War will start, next week there is a vote for
a new resolution. The US needs 9 votes which they won´t get.
And also they´re can´t be a Veto......which France, Germany and
Russia already told they will use......

The US is going to War no matter what the Vote will bring. I guess
it´s only a matter of days now before the it all starts......What a
great time we live in and what an inmense amount of morrons
are on this planet and the saddest thing is that it seems the
biggest morrons around seem to be at positions they shouldn´t
ever have gotten into.

I´m not meaning any country in specific or what´s wrong/right
just the fact that our world is in such a fucking big mess
depresses me.

Germany doesn't have a veto and unless I'm mistaken, the other two have only HINTED towards using their veto. In other words, they want some sort of compensation to simply abstain.

Even without a Veto the US will never get the 9 votes they still
would need. That´s almost ALL remaining countries.....that´s not
going to happen mate.

The reality is that none of us know the truth now, none of us will know the truth when it is all over.

Many will die, many more will be injured, Saddam will escape with billions, Bush will be relected and for the rest of the world life will continue.

And we already know what we will teach our children about it.....
something like this should NEVER happen again......history is
repeating itself over and over again......when will people learn?

Too bad that all the people who know how to run a country
are busy driving cabs or being hairdressers.
