Namecheap Deal for Feb 5th: $3.98 to move your domain +75% off* on your hosting

In case you live under a rock...
NameCheap is offering transfers including a 1 year extension for only $3.98 per domain name!

Today only:

Use coupon NCMYDD to transfer your domains at $3.98*
and HOSTWITHNC to get 75% off* on your hosting.

Only issues are:
- it's limited to 50 names per household :(
- and it's limited to these .tld's: .com, .net, .org, .info and .biz

Honestly such system sucks, because mostly when you actually need to renew/transfer domain, then there are no any coupons available.
I am on name.com where transfer is 8$ and renewal 9.25$ always no matter what,so il stick with it.

I'm paying $7.99-$8.49 or something like that on GoDaddy..

for people who have like 1000 domains, that $3.98 would add up to $4,500 if they didn't have the 50 domain limit.. :(

plus they give you a years free privacy..

But if you have 50 names, it's still worth transferring over, and then in a few months transferring back if you don't like them..

Well in theory if you would constantly switch between domain registars every time when there is such a promo you could make a maximum discount but it is just a too much hassle. While namecheap interface is good, godaddy one is horrible and i just dont want to login there ever again, plus if i going to buy domains or sites again i wont take it if it will be on godaddy.

Ya, a ton of people hate GoDaddy.. i personally haven't had any issues.. (knock on wood) but i have had like 1000+ names with them for a long time.. i had originally used like 8 different registrars but it was getting too confusing, and then i went with the one that offered me the best price.. I asked NameCheap to match it, and they said they could not.

There is one out there that i still have a name or two on http://internet.bs and they consistently have good prices and offer free privacy, but their interface is lacking and I have been weary of them for some reason (but they've done nothing wrong, i am just a paranoid fucker i guess). I do like to vacation in the Bahamas though.. lmao

Sounds cool and allat, but here's a tip for the new booty ass niggas: don't host with your registrar!

I signed up with namecheap yesterday so I was in real luck when I saw that promo. Waited one day then finally moved my important domains away from godaddy :)
