Bush, Jesus and the FDA
Bush announced his plan to select pro-lifer Dr. W. David Hager to head up the FDA's Reproductive Health Drugs Advisory Committee. "FDA advisory panels often have near-final say over crucial health questions. " This committee covers all reproductive drugs including contraceptives, hormone therapy and non-surgical alternatives to sterilization and pregnancy termination.
This guy won't prescribe contraception to un-married women in his private practice and his book "Stress and the Woman's Body" places "an emphasis on the restorative power of Jesus Christ in one's life" and recommends specific Scripture readings and prayers for such ailments as headaches and premenstrual syndrome. " Which horseman of the apocalypse is this? Brief Time Magazine article: http://www.time.com/time/nation/arti...361521,00.html Google Dr. W. David Hager for more... |
