SiriusXm... Anyone have this? Like it?
I signed up for this about a month ago.
I really like it. Music is really good and I love listening to Howard Stern. I like 70s, 80s, and Howard Stern. Brings back memories. I use it a lot on set during pics. So here is where it gets interesting: I paid for an All access service for the year. $200 no big deal. I knew at one time they sold All access Lifetime subscriptions, but were no long available. I asked the rep is there anyway i can buy one. He informed me that they are no longer available. Then I got an email from they guy that works at SiriusXm, who handled my account and he informed me that he has a Lifetime subscription for sale. Its his personal one. asked me if I was interested on making a deal. Long Story short and a PayPal money Transfer later, he went into the system and changed his account information with my personal info and gave me a pass word to the account. I then changed the security questions and combined the Lifetime account with the payed account I have. Worked perfectly. Then I called 7 days later and knew what to say and not say, transfer the account to the radio of my choosing and was not charged the one of the three Transfers that the lifetime accounts have. But was charged the $75 activation fee.(No biggie) Lifetimes only have 3 transfers, then they are done! Very important! Unless you know what to say to the agent. Which I had details on what to say, what not to say. Now my new hobby has been collecting SiriusXm Lifetime accounts. I run the radio IDs though my guy and he tells me if its legit, blacklisted or bullshit. Its pretty cool having that contact. especially if you like music. Need to be careful with this stuff. lots of scams out there. Cant do it without an inside guy. After my 1st dealings with him, I sent him a box of porn as he knows what I do, and I know porn is always a good bargaining chip. lol Anyone have SiriusXm stories? I hear horror stories about them. lol And if anyone has a lifetime that they want to sell me? I can even get the car Lifetime accounts transferred onto portable radios. My guys is good. lol Just Dave |

I like it. No need to keep an ipod in the car and take time to find new music. Only negative is that I really only listen to about 5-6 stations, the rest are not my style. Overall, i think its a cool service :2 cents:

It's really cool if you are unaware of rdio, pandora, spotify, etc etc.

Channel 100 and 101, Howard Stern was the real selling point for me. But I really like all of the other music Channels. real good stuff and great programming. I also got a kick out of listening to NFL games when I was driving and Hockey Games when I don't get a chance to watch them. Really happy with the service. Just Dave |
I love my satellite radio. Especially DeepTrax :thumbsup
Wonderful when driving cross country, no more dead spots out in the middle of Arizona at 4 in the morning. . |
Best bet is to be sure to call and tell them you want to cancel every 6 months. They always offer $25 - $35 for next 6 months if you stay. Just put it on your calendar and be sure to call to cancel every 6 months.
After 6 years with XM I finally really did cancel a couple of months ago. I really miss my Opie & Anthony fix everyday. Will have them turn it back on now thanks to this reminder of a thread. |
i want it, anyone wanna share his login with me? :)

I like it, 60's and 70's rock :thumbsup Having just music is nice, I use it in my vehicle!
