I admit that if I would of bet on this game I would have put my money on Denver. Nobody saw this blowout coming.

Good thing that the game had relatively good weather, less ammo for Peyton apologists to find excuses as to why Peyton came up small in another big game.

Scott McD 02-03-2014 09:25 AM

If that was a boxing match the referee would have stopped it in the 2nd round...

43-8 says it all.no comment

Was a really great game defensively.

Denver made good passes, Seattle just pound the ball loose every time. Was a defensive clinic!

And to shut down Manning? Crazy!!

Did he come up short or did his line? He had to rush every single pass that game, no qb ever could have fixed that. does manning need apologists? i doubt it, he's one of the best of all time..

not a denver or manning fan, but you don't seem to be a fan of the sport at all. fantasy football guy right?

Gator 02-03-2014 02:51 PM

Yeah, Peyton's career speaks for itself. It is not easy to win the Super Bowl.

I was impressed with Seattle's tackling. They did a good job.

The tacking and the hard hits after the ball was caught. Was very impressed with the defense.

The Crazy thing is Manning wasn't doing a bad job, the Seattle defense was just that good at forcing plays.

As a person who was rooting for neither team I have to see blowouts like this in the biggest game of the year.

As a Seahawks fan that is pretty tired of hearing about Peyton's great season this, best offense ever that, it could not have been more entertaining.

A bunch of young players that were told they were not good enough, including a player off the bench that won mvp, a second year qb that was too short to be great, all those story lines went into making it even more epic.

Sherman put it best though, the real Superbowl was the SF - Seattle conference championship.
