Tumblr Following Bots?

Is this possible? I have a plethora of Tumblr Blogs and would LOVE to follow based on key words (of course just my 200 per day limit )

Is there anything people swear by? I'm willing to pay for a good one, but if a free one is around I'd rather go that route.

brassmonkey 02-02-2014 06:09 PM

will get you banned they are watching

rickstercreative 02-02-2014 06:18 PM

Oh I didn't realize I'd get banned via Tumblr if I follow others. I was just looking to follow users based on niche words ... timed out so it's not a mass following.

Creatine 02-02-2014 06:24 PM

Here's a bot.

rickstercreative 02-03-2014 05:32 AM

Thanks. I ended up buying one, but it's not working properly. The developer says it is being updated today, so I will keep my eyes opened

Which did you buy?

FetishBar 02-03-2014 09:53 AM

They will ban you 100%

Never follow by keyword, your blog will be reported by someone.

Extract followers from blogs in your niche and follow them.

If done slow this should not be an issue.

rickstercreative 02-03-2014 05:00 PM

I got tumbleforce. I'm only looking for things to Reblog on my many blogs. I follow manually slowly each day. I am aware they are delete happy, so that's why I create many blogs all the time

rickstercreative 02-04-2014 08:52 PM

I had to get a refund from TumbleForce. Oh well back to doing it again the old fashioned way

Creatine 02-04-2014 09:31 PM

There are two free bots.

Tumbstudio: http://sh.st/O73l

This bot is used for posting.
http://i.imgur.com/KJ01RcM.jpg

Also TumbScrape: http://sh.st/O75P
This bot is used for scraping content from blogs.(Basically downloading thousands of images from a tumblr blog.)
http://i.imgur.com/C0TYJ1A.png

What you do is you download both, use the scraper to get a ton of images and use the auto posting bot to post the images.

You can also join my new forum:
http://webgroupwork.net/index.php

Basically this forum is intended to create group blogs.
Blogging as a group is better because instead of just you posting it'll be hundreds of thousands of people posting and the followers will grow fast.(And since Tumblr loves to ban, when a blog gets ban a new group can be created very quickly.)

Here's my tumblr group blog:
http://webgroupwork.net/showthread.php?tid=4

You can join the group and reblog your blogs stuff or you could simply post every now and then and set permalinks to whatever you'd like.

People here at GFY underestimate the power of social media.

Here's an example of a GFY member bashing tumblr and blogger.
http://i.imgur.com/GkVJjq1.png

Tumblr and Blogger are AMAZING for traffic. Blogger blogs rank VERY FAST in Google.(Probably because it's their service) And tumblr has a search engine and Google also seems to love tumbr blogs.

Just search "Porn Blog" in google and look at the results.

http://i.imgur.com/Kr4JiZ2.png

So if you think social media websites like Blogger and Tumblr suck just because they're free then your simply wrong.

Also join a real marketing forum if you want money. GFY is not the place for this.

(I'm actually currently in the process of writing the ultimate porn webmaster guide.I'll be selling the eBook soon. But basically i'm putting absolutely all of my knowledge of this niche into one giant eBook. This is just a small taste of what's going to be in the book.)

those are the best bots you've found? ;)

I like your idea on working in groups though, I don't think it'll work in most of the categories you created (too many of the platforms are open to abuse - I could easily fill a tumblr blog's queue not allowing anyone else the chance to upload for example, and its well know how easy they are to kill) but I'd be interested in joining any reddit groups created.

Tunblr has a post limit of 50 posts per day that can be published. With a group blog each member can post 50. I used to have a group blog with over 60 members when I first got into tumlrr, the problem was it eventually got banned and I had no way to contact the old members to invite them to a new blog.

That's why I set up this forum. It's easier to collaborate on it.

Here's an old thread on my old group blog:
http://marketboard.org/showthread.php?tid=605
(Some images are missing)

Anyways it's fine if you don't want to join bit it does work.

And I have a few porn subteddits.
My best one has 18 subscribers. I might make a post
About it later.

And those bots are the best I could find yes. If you really
Need a bit and have $& you can hire a coder at
Thebotnet to create a good bot for you.

Tumblr has a post limit of 300 posts that can be backlogged, so one person could fill up the queue and have only their 50 posts appearing for the next 6 days.
I don't need a bot - I've tried your example before and it is extremely buggy, even the developer admits that, there are much better bots around, in fact I often run two at once to fill up one blog (one filling the blog with my own posts and the other fetches reblogs to make the blog look more natural).

I had a few subreddits and easily got up to 1k of followers for most of them but I'm pretty sure that reddit deleted them because most of the submissions were from one person - I really need to try again there. :)

I'm not saying I don't want to join, I am interested (especially in a reddit project). I just think that although in principle a tumblr team project is a good idea, its just to easy for one person to abuse that platform for everyone else onboard.

I get what you're saying, but when posting you don't have to necessary use the que system. You could just post regularly without the que. That way everyone can post however much they want in a group blog.

And as for reddit that's insane. 1,000 subscribers is a LOT. I did a test on all the major social media networks and reddit brought in the most traffic.

http://pornguide.pornblog.me/2014/01...ia-porn-guide/

Anyways here are my 3 subreddits. You can post to them if you want:
http://webgroupwork.net/showthread.php?tid=10

They're not big at all, but just posting to them every now and then I was able to get a decent amount of traffic.

First, you have to invite webmasters to your board.

Strange that. although a post appearing on a big subreddit can bring in huge traffic, I've found the most consistent provider of traffic is stumbleupon. It regularly appears near the top of my stats. Obviously our sites appeal to different sets of surfers! :D

LOL! you changed your post - actually 1k reddit subscribers is small fry, have a look at the biggest adult ones - I think many of them top 100K reddit.com/r/LegalTeens/ for example.

I guess haha. Either way Reddit and StumbleUpon were at the top for me. Facebook and Twitter you might think would get a lot of traffic because of how big they are however your posts get burried under all the other bullshit people post. You need to have a big following from the get go on those sites.

Same with Tumblr. Tumblr actually brought in no traffic for me at all durring. my test. Tumblr's alternative soup.io brought in more.

http://pornblogx.soup.io/

Stumbleupon had a limit on how many pages i can submit from my one site per day. I was reaching it nearly everyday. With reddit many of the images i posted were from imgur.(I post about 3 imgur and 1 from my blog) I do that to ensure I don't get banned.

As you can see this is the image from my social media test:

new blogs get sandboxed at tumblr, I've no idea how to get out of it - it's almost random but I'm leaning towards thinking its how many times you log into the admin against the age of the blog. you'll not appear in the searches (not even the NSFW searches) until you are out of the sandbox and its the internal searches you want as those guys will reblog your posts and you'll get extra exposure from their followers/traffic.

its ridiculously easy to get thousands of people hitting your site per day from tumblr but it takes a lot of time to build it up and as you probably know, time is often against you if the tumblr ban hammer finds you!

I had no idea Tumblr had a sand box. That explains a lot.

That's exactly why you work as a group rather then alone. I believe my blog is out of the sandbox. I posted a GIF yesterday and got this:
http://i.imgur.com/cBy1HMf.png

It also went from 145 followers to 156.
Slowly growing.

;) Gifs always get reblogged well :)

You should edit out your username from the image - you know what GFY is like!

Is Tumbstudio even working any longer? Last I tried I got error messages and it wouldn't connect. That was a few months ago. Seems tumblr made changes and it affected the bot.

Appears I'm not the only one either.

Has there been a fix?
