Not books like that.

Books by infomercial guys? I think not. I must admit that when I am drunk that Don Lapre shit always sounds like a good idea. I always tell myself that if I still want it in the morning, I will order it. Fortunately after the booze leaves my system Don seems like an idiot again.

I read that shit about 10 years ago and threw the book away.

It's just a collection of motivational writings. Robbins steals all his stuff from others. He's nothing more than an organizer and compiler. It's ok if you need to get motivation from a book.

I am reading this book called "The Four Agreements"...similar type book..

I know a guy that bought that and actually did make a lot of money with it. I think he was just lucky though, the whole thing smells of bullshit to me.

Have you seen that guy though?

I think he needs to write a book on how to shrink the giant outside, the guy is fuckin scary

if you want that kind of books... Go buy some of Tom Peters books, another guy that's very good but dam if I can remember his name. I wouldn't buy anything Robbins wrote.

I can't read anything written by a guy with the last name of Peters. I would just laugh the whole time.

yep read em all, I found them useful and motivational. Tom Peters books are more for the corporate environment types so for our industry Robbins might be more relevant. Hell Doogy Howser (whatever that actors name is) took his course!

Tony Robbins is great for motivation - those who bash him are simply full of self-defeat :1orglaugh

But I would get the audio cd's - it is much more motivational to hear him because you can hear the enthusiam in his voice which is really the key to transferring motivation.
