what would u do if a program screwed you for over $60k

OUT60K AND INCREDIBLE DISRESPECT.

What would do?
Cry amd whine @ gfy?
Lawyer up?
PERSONALLY I'm not one for the legal system.
lots of other options... lets hear ideas.

Rochard 01-31-2014 04:42 PM

Hire an attorney. It's a business matter.

Either get an attorney or break their kneecaps.

American Psycho 01-31-2014 04:46 PM

Attorney over 60k?
u ever had a complex court case?

Sounds like no.

they have attorneys they're going to waste my time as much as possible to not pay that 60,000 that 60,000 becomes really unappealing number quickly

MrPotatoBread 01-31-2014 04:51 PM

I'd start with sending a professional letter with return receipt and confirmation. Then I'd wait and see if any communication results from such acts. I would def not say or put anything online before taking all measures. That's just one method though.

Mediamix 01-31-2014 04:56 PM

If you want a real answer you need to give more info.. Because it also depends on the country the company is in.

But... 60K? Holy fuck. You need a gun.

American Psycho 01-31-2014 04:56 PM

Did that.In few words they said screw off.

American Psycho 01-31-2014 04:57 PM

They are us based.

+1 On kneecapping.

WDF 01-31-2014 05:13 PM

Sometimes the answer is under your nose. Do a little research.

A resolution can sometimes result from just the right piece of information.

Why did you list it as an option then?

American Psycho 01-31-2014 05:17 PM

I started with the two most common answers to said issue. Complain at gfy and lawyer up.
does that suffice sir thread officer.

DBS.US 01-31-2014 05:19 PM

First step is to go the the persons home and talk nice.

femdomdestiny 01-31-2014 05:21 PM

give him a percent to collect.

SBJ 01-31-2014 05:33 PM

buy a gun and kill myself.. I mean really if I ever became such a pansy to let a affiliate get behind paying me $60k than I don't deserve to live..

No way $60k is one weeks pay so the 1st time they were late in paying or gave me the run around links would be pulled long before it got that far out of hand.. :2 cents:

bushwacker 01-31-2014 05:36 PM

1) Find someone who is in the "collection business".
2) Agree too terms.
3) Collect money, and don't ask questions.

How complex is it? Do they just owe you commissions? You can sue someone for that amount and make it work. I have. I mean for $5k or $10k you can test the waters and see if they want to settle.

You also should be able to recover the legal fees. If your case is strong, a lawsuit is possible. If you don't have a strong case and they are telling you to piss off I would say name the company.

I really heard people doing this sort of business, but that is not legal option...

+1

Name the company, or sue them.

signupdamnit 01-31-2014 06:09 PM

1. Spend some time finding out who all the owners are, what else they own, where they live, etc.
2. Make sure I stay away from anything else they touch.
3. Tell everyone who will listen about what they did.
4. Try making 120k with someone else.
5. Consider hiring a legal representative and have them look into a civil suit as well as the possibility of contacting law enforcement agencies hoping that they might try to open a criminal case for fraud, unjust enrichment, postal fraud, etc

pornmasta 01-31-2014 06:12 PM

hire a hitman ;)

kjs 01-31-2014 06:14 PM

Collection agencies are good for this. You can negotiate a % of what is recovered.

Giving someone 50% still gets you more than zero.

JFK 01-31-2014 06:16 PM

is it an affiliate program ?

suesheboy 01-31-2014 06:33 PM

if you suing them, I wouldn't suggest that you name them right away.

you have to ask yourself the question why they're not paying you. If they don't have money and you do something to hurt their money flow, chances of them paying you are far less.

You would still have satisfaction that they wasted more than 60K on lawyers :)
if you say that would cost that much.

Seth Manson 01-31-2014 06:45 PM

The last thing I would do, is ever talk about what I would do.

~Ray 01-31-2014 06:48 PM

cost about $1500 to file a civil suit in the amount over $10,000 , the civil center at your courthouse will walk you through the process and help you file for free.

save your attorney fees

rayadp05 02-01-2014 12:00 AM

60k? Oh shit. I don't think I should say on a public forum what I would do. Good luck with it though.

Struggle4Bucks 02-01-2014 12:06 AM

Send them grenades and their family tulips and a nice card... you see... i'm an
empathic person.

Biggy 02-01-2014 12:17 AM

Leave your contact details and ill give you a good, legal plan that's cost effective.

Matyko 02-01-2014 12:39 AM

sue them for $4.5 billion like the crazy chick does in the other thread </jk> :pimp

CurrentlySober 02-01-2014 02:44 AM

I'd do a poo on his doorstep - That would teach him! :2 cents:

j3rkules 02-01-2014 03:40 AM
