Can someone please explain how girls are recruited through social media?

I just do not get it, so lets say on FB you just make friend requests and then say hey how about becoming a hooker and earning lots of money?

There must be a technique they use to get the girls to join them?

I don't think that they are recruited through social media. Usually if you know some hookers, they already have a network of hooker friends or hooker wannabes which, in exchange of a better lifestyle, are willing to get into the business.

People have trust in general in their friends and the majority are recruited through this type of classic network.

Through social media? Let's say if a hooker has many friends(some real and some virtual) on Facebook and she starts showing off with her good lifestyle, their friends and acquaintance will start to see that and they will interrogate her about what she does.

Then she will sell them the speech about a good life, money etc and this is how they can get hooked.

The tactic of a stranger approaching someone on facebook directly and start promising wonderful things will not work because no trust has been consolidated.

....but apparently the gangs are able to directly get the girls without going through a hooker........

They are always some which are very desperate, naive, very young and without no experience and they want to do something big very fast and "live their wild life".
With those, you don't need the factors which i mentioned

You add their facebook account and figure out who their family and friends are and where try live by looking at photos etc.

Then you threaten them with violence if they don't work for you. After that you take tier passport, tatoo them/brand them whatever the fuck you want and your good to go.

This is called trafficking. Have fun in prison if you plan on doing this.

I think in all honesty only a real idiot recruits by cold calling via social media....thats a sting waiting to happen....I wouldnt do it...
