Unless you go bigger than 60 or 70 inches, the difference between 4K and 1080p is nominal
That's a hard sell unless projectors become mainstream

Thats a good price for quality 4K but I would pass on the basis that it doesnt use HEVC (H.265) encoding which is likely going to be the standard for 4K. Othwer than that ziess optics and a 1 inch sensor for $2k aint bad at all

where I live we have this thing called 'the future' so the content will be relevant in about 5 years... what you're suggesting is continuing shoot SD after HD became available... see a lot of SD content these days?

Ya I was just being sarcastic. Most people haven't even caught up to regular HD yet and they are now pushing 4K with 8K already in the pipeline.

Agreed. I started shooting HD in 2007 when most where saying it was overkill, and about a year later EVERYONE was shooting HD, its easy to see where things are headed with technology.
