My cousin once got a ticket here in Winnipeg for: "parking of horse & carriage on front property -- street-facing"

He had shovelled out an extra parking spot and was parking his car in the front yard all winter. The wording of that particular law was written back in the late 1800's and had never been amended. Cost him something like $22 bucks, back in the 80's.

Good thing he wasn't a sodomite.
