Phillip Morris Introduces Marlboro Marijuana Cigarettes

There's only one problem: It's a fake news story from a fake news website. http://abriluno.com/phillip-morris-i...na-cigarettes/

seeandsee 01-26-2014 02:24 PM

Bigger problem is that everybody talk about this, probably only because 2 states in Usa legalized canabis...

EddyTheDog 01-26-2014 02:25 PM

I don't often smoke weed and I got excited - Damn...

Vendzilla 01-26-2014 02:32 PM

It's on the mind of Marlboro, has been for a while.
They have the land

and there's a unicorn lair in north korea

only problem is its not real...

and beiijing residents watch fake sunrises but its also not real...

and every top model and A list actress got in on some "human centipede" action at my party last night, forming an enormous tube, consisting of around 50 mouths and assholes and my penis at one end but this is also not real....

I see this as becoming reality in the near future.

Booze was once illegal, but look at us now. I am in Vegas (again!) and the hotel I am in has a liquor store and is giving out free shots.

The moment they know that the legalized marijuana laws are staying, and enough states have gone with it that the numbers make it financially viable to tool up for this product they will do it. It makes total sense for them.

2MuchMark 01-26-2014 06:54 PM

As much as I hate big tabacco, I think its a great idea... I'm surprised the Tobacco industries haven't lobbied for this in the past.

bronco67 01-26-2014 08:05 PM

They've known the writing has been on the wall for years. It's only a matter of time before smokers get so marginalized, there won't be enough smokers to keep them rich. They'll try to stay as relevant as possible, so the weed idea isn't crazy.

How many free shots?..

Is it worth the airfare?....

Beat me to it. It is well in the works folks. Who saw the Series finale of Weeds? They nailed it. And time frame seems to be just about right. Fully flexible smart phones in that ep too. Also are close to being a common thing in 3 or 4 years. About the same time we should be close to 50 state legal. 5 years is my prediction, or less.

Have no desire to use the coming big Cannabis company products though.

baddog 01-26-2014 09:10 PM

This has been talked about longer than many of you have been alive.

I know growers that I know don't use anything artificial , I don't smoke much anymore, but when I do!!!

Cool concept and something I remember dreaming about when I was a teenager growing up in Michigan! :winkwink: I guess though with CO and WA now legalizing it for recreational use, more states will follow. For big tobacco I think to get involved, more states will need to legalize. I'm not sure there is much money in opening a single Marlboro/Philip Morris dispensary in Denver, but launching across a region or on a national level would be more interesting as they could have centralized growing facilities and distribution points.

I'm ready to hear congress debate the advertising medium. Let's see if they are able to run any print ads in Time or The New Yorker. :thumbsup

I remember being in secondary school, (Just about to leave school) in 1983, and the same rumours going round :thumbsup

Phoenix 01-27-2014 04:22 AM

Suddenly marijuana will be toxic because they will pump it full of chemicals.

Pornstarchive 01-27-2014 05:27 AM

Phoenix is right...it's almost better that it's not legal; chemicals and Monsanto would get their hands on it.

TonyJ 01-27-2014 06:26 AM

Half the potheads i know talk about crystals on their buds like its natural, and not anti-pesticide sprays.
