Heh, I break out the old Atart 2600 from time to time. I usually have to play Yars' Revenge, River Raid, Pitfall,....all the good ones. It's hard to believe I was ever entertained for hours at a time by that.

MrPopup 03-05-2003 03:38 AM

Go get em Miner 2049'er!

http://www.qlam.com/atari/miner2049er_p1.gif

MrPopup 03-05-2003 03:39 AM

ive got an emulator for my dreamcast that acts as an Atari 800 with the equivalent of 400 games on a virtual hard drive.

Its like being 6 every day.

Juggernaut 03-05-2003 03:39 AM

The best game I remember playing was on the Commodore 64 system, and it was called Rick Dangerous... I miss those days. I think they made a version for Atari too

Zebra 03-05-2003 03:41 AM

I used to love my ColecoVision :thumbsup

Ahh, Night Driver. What was the point of that game? I could never focus on those stupid dotted lines that resembled the road but at full throttle if you just moved the paddle back and forth as fast as possible you would get through the curves without crashing most of the time.

Missle command, now that game was the shit.

fucking cool.. I've been meaning to get a coffee table version of Galaga or Galaga 88 for ages.. Donkey Kong on the old LCD nintendo handhelds was great. Moon Patrol.. Alley cat.. anything like Artillery Duel with the two cannons trying to blow each other up using angles velocity and windspeed.. man.. I remember being at a tender age and playing that in '83..
