I'm meeting William Gibson

He's the dude who coined the term Cyberspace....

I wonder what I'll ask him?

Ask him to give me a call. He and I are supposed to meet up to discuss the making of the Neuromancer Movie.

That movie would be lame.

I'd line up for a movie based on http://www.cryptonomicon.com/main.html

Probably the best fiction I have ever read.

Dude.
Gibson is THE MAN. Stephenson rocks, but you gotta give props to papa cyberpunk.

Why are you meeting with him?

Cryptonomicon rocked! I would love to see that made into a flick. Hopefully someone good will read it and want to make it.

Cryptonomicon was good, but Snow Crash is by far the better book.

The main character was named Hiro Protagonist... either lazy or witty... though I lean twords the witty side.

I didn't think much of Snow Crash, myself. I liked some of the imagery and one or two of the characters, but for such a technology-heavy book his view of future tech seemed pretty lame. The whole Snow Crash concept was pretty wonky. I was disappointed.

Gibson on the other hand kicks ass. His Cyberpunk landscapes are pretty cool stuff. A ilttle weird, somtimes, but never stale.
