Nightline should be really good tonight. It's an hour and a half special on the possible war with Iraq, and on all the divisiveness it has thus far caused in the U.S. and abroad.

There might be a war? I hear this is a myth.

Yes it is. There will absolutely be a war very, very soon, maybe.

I figured it was just all a bunch of political mumbo jumbo talk......so whats this war thingy supposed to be about anyhoo?

Koppel has been pimping strife ever since the Iranian hostage crisis back in the Carter administration. He just FLOGS these things to death with shows on these situations night after night. Strangely, Nightline's shows on science (on those rare occasions when the have them) are much, much more interesting. They had one explaining superstring theory and another one considering the idea that, Carl Sagan notwithstanding, perhaps, for all practical purposes, we ARE the only life in the universe.
