Any views on Techiemedia?
 

I'm curious... what's their rep... any views on their setup, service, etc. welcome.

They are one of the hosts that I use. Strong reputation with excellent service. :thumbsup

Indeed, a name that is a blast from the past, never heard anything bad about them :2 cents::thumbsup

When it comes to support, Techiemedia is among the best. I purchased a CMS from a vendor on GFY. The vendor installed it on my server and could not get it to work. After a week of trying, the vendor decided to let me know that they were going to give up. When I asked them why, the vendor was honest enough to tell me that they are not programmers or techs, had the software developed offshore and don't know enough to troubleshoot it.

To make a long story short, Techiemedia setup a separate test server copied my system to the test server and got the software to work. They also gave me verbal pros and cons on what I purchased. They did all this without any additional cost to me.

In a nutshell, if I had to bet my livelihood on their service, I wouldn't hesitate to do so.

we use them for our main hosting provider. they are good. ive toured the data center. serious operation.

good reputation did not hear anything bad yet

I am with them for 7 or 8 years now and have no intention to change that

Don't know anything about them but I always wondered how those companies, with sites frozen in time, sell their services to new customers...
