I tried Crakrevenue and also chaturbate and in my case I make much more money with Crak.... for my gay traffic I get 2.50$ I have quality traffic and there's no way I can make more money with the chaturbate offer at 1$ per lead...

That's my case it can be different depending the quality of your traffic I guess. I also have some straight traffic that I send to MyFreeCams thru crak.... So I get everything in one single backend and one single payment that have always been on time since I'm with them for more than a year and half now. My affiliate manager (Etienne Bab.) is in my skype and always answer my questions within 15 minutes during business hours.

Be careful with Crakrevenue, they cancelled my account and withheld funds (not a lot) because I promoted one of their Cam Models directly using screen captures from her cam shows. Figured the model would be happy to make more money but apparently not.. she reported my account.

Did you got the approval of the model? I run a cam studio aswell with streamate (you probably promoted Livefreefun or MFC with Crak) and all my models would be piss off to see screenshot spreaded all over the web especially that 90% of my model use GEO-IP blocking to block viewers from certain area. You can't take images of models and share it over the web without their agreements.... So be carefull for what? lol you got what you deserved man!

Yes the geo-ip-block is not active in promotions. I get cam girls asking to help delete their pics from the web all the time (especially if visible from their neighbours in romania / ukraine / colombia etc.).

It's up to the cam sponsor if they want to allow this but if a model is putting herself out on the internet she should expect it to get around. To not allow affiliates to use screen captures is ridiculous and really hurts some earning methods. Cam studios ought to reduce the percentage payout to models who forbid affiliates to use the content.

In some cases it probably isn't about the models. It's more about sponsors coming up with excuses to shaft small and medium sized affiliates.

I don't see anywhere on the model and studio agreement with the 3 cam site I deal with, that affiliates will be able to take screenshot or content for promotion..... so why it's should be free/included?

Doing pictures and video shot it's one thing because it's pictures and videos and it's can be transfered anywhere... for cam it's a different game because the technologie let you block people by GEO-IP...

It's common sense. If you are promoting a product you need to show a little bit of what the product is in order to sell it. If you're just promoting one or two models that is one thing but if you are promoting hundreds it gets ridiculous having to get permission. It's supposed to be a partnership. Do you want affiliates or not?

Then ask the program first what's allowed and whats not allowed to use.... don't do something and then after cry when you get dammages (account closed). They might have special agreement with a list of models on their site for such things I don't know. But if I read model and studio agreement so far it's not allowed.

What I'm saying is it's hard to promote using certain methods without certain promo tools. An affiliate is supposed to be an independent contractor and not an employee. For an affiliate to work best you need to give them an adequate amount of freedom. A non nude or blurred still shot from a free chat or even a 30 second video of the same should not be an issue if the affiliate is promoting you. If it is you probably shouldn't have affiliates because you are doing it wrong.

I get that it is the cam company's right to decide but it's stupid. It comes down to "Do you want affiliates or not?"

I know what you mean because I'm also an affiliate and I need content to generate hits etc... however and unfortunately most of girl I had at my studio think that way: 'If you gonna make money with my image I gotta have to make money with it aswell...'

So starting from that point you need to not be surprised to get complaint about stolen content if a girl find out that you use her image without her agreement. They are independant contractor aswell with the site and everyone must respect the agreement they had with each other and since there's no direct agreement with the affiliate and the model you gotta go by the website or you can go directly with the model.

Theses day when a girl apply to do cam half of them ask at least one of thoses questions:

-Does it recorded?
-Can I block the Canada? (I'm based in Montreal)
-Can I stop when I wish?

There's few others studios here that are larger than me and might be interested to do partnership with some affiliates... my girls/couples would refuse at 99% I think. I'm sure fews people here would be happy to get direct traffic from you and make more money!

I run adult webcam review sites. I and my reviewers watch and rate cam sites and in doing so we select random cams from which we take screenshots from.

I don't ask permission however I would remove pictures if requested. I would be pretty pissed off if my account got cancelled for this.

This particular model is an attention whore, she doesn't give a fuck about geo targetting. She has her own website using amazon gift vouchers as payment methods to view other videos she has made, not to mention the obligatory gold digging wish list. Whilst promoting her I provided her cam profile name and link to her profile page which had pre recorded shows for sale. She would have made money yet still got my account banned. Anyway I am happy Crak banned me, now I moved onto Chaturbate. Am liking what I see so far :thumbsup

This is offtopic but interesting:

Some affiliates do banners with screencaps, but whoever buys banner spots in ad networks, may select GEO target like US, CA etc. and not visible to models at their location (unless they're US CA models which, in our case, it is rare, most is ru ua ro co ph).

If you have a review or blog site open to all GEOs... still the probability that your page with a pic of a specific it is seen by that same model it is very low (unless your site it got lots lots of traffic or popular to cam girls in particular). However if she knew, then the probability she would report it to the cam site it is high. At this point, depends by the cam site policy what to do - personally I would not close the affiliate account, but simply tell the affiliate to remove these pics so the girl is happy, and have him continue promoting in other way.
I see often our affiliates taking screenshots with random girls and putting up blogs and sites; I tell nothing to them... to be boureaucratic, they should have asked permission to the model (directly or via our site).. but I am not so boureaucratic and just wait for any. complaints: these do not happen often. Mostly the girls find their vidcaps in xvideos, xhamster etc. or forums, not on affiliate promos really - probability is too low.

On the CraK criticisms, just to be fair I just thought of it but I don't think they own any cam sites. They are just partners so it could be that they were told they had to can the account. ???
