Sex with your OS - Anyone seen 'Her' yet?

Going to see 'Her' with the wife in a few hours.

Anyone seen it yet?

Thoughts?

I did and thought it had some funny parts….but overall totally weird!

I think it is a totally sick and perverted premise that would appeal to pedos the world over...think about it...an old per gets a new (virginal) device that knows nothing of the world (innocent) and then decides to teach it/her everything...like a parent and child relationship...then he falls in love with said device/child...totally sick IMHO.

I am sure pedos worldwide will be fapping all over their iPhones now!

Only a total loser would fall in love with a computer voice.

Could be VERY distracting when driving if you fell in love with your GPS.

Perhaps more disturbing is how and why you chose to spin the interpretation this way.

For a chick flick/sci-fi/fantasy movie - it was quite good.

At the risk of being pretentious...it was somewhat cerebral on a number of levels if you get over the somewhat silly premise of someone falling in love with a computer operating system. It was much more than that.

Joaquin Phoenix's performance was amazing - Oscar nominee calibre I'd say. Good to see him back and acting 'normal' for a change.

The director, Spike Jonze - makes some interesting observations and statements on our current society trend towards techno alienation from each other. People walking around oblivious to their surroundings while interacting with their smartphones and artificial intelligence OS's.
