If I Turned Up In Vegas On Sunday...

I am seriously thinking of flying over - Would it be worth it?..

I mean would I be able to get into shows etc as I haven't booked anything.....

Also I assume a hotel wouldn't be a problem at this time of year?..

Thanks

With a major credit card, Las Vegas is your oyster. :thumbsup

It would not be a problem. If you're even halfway considering it then I'd suggest you go. :2 cents:

The credit card is next to the laptop and I have found a flight - That's the first step:)...

The other thing is do I need to book a return for immigration control reasons? - I might well stay in the US for a while and see a few of the sights - I'm not sure for how long though...

Thanks again

I would think that a one way ticket may prompt some additional questions but not likely to get you a body cavity search. Hell if I know though. I live here so my Customs and Immigration is different. I'd ask somebody who travels from outside the US.

What I used to do, was book a return flight in about a fortnights time. Then I'd say I was just on holiday for a couple of weeks... Pretty normal, so I'd slip under the radar...

Upon being granted entry, Id contact the airline, and change the return date on the ticket to whatever I wanted - They were happy to do it, cause it meant that they got an extra $100 as an 'admin fee'

This was in 2001/2002 though, so things may have changed...

I was thinking of that - It's how I used to travel to Aus before I got the NZ passport...
