This is the new GOOGLE I am seeing today...

I've kept the original size , the font is MASSIVE and this is on a 1920x1080 screen.

Obvious what they want to achieve, the font pushes down organic results below the fold. A single non-paid result for this search :1orglaugh

Hopefully they kill this one before it is rolled out to everybody :helpme:helpme

You're missing the point.

We are webmasters remember? I don't care about my personal browsing experience I care about traffic. Below the fold you lose visitors, the further down the greater the loss. If they roll this out globally unless you're in position 1 or 2 you'll see a drop. Their site, their rules, but it's an interesting insight in what the future might hold :2 cents:

For starters, Ctrl - (hold down the control key and press the minus? key) to get your font to normal size.

Then, yes, Google are becoming greedier by the minute, these fickers should have been stomped long time ago.

I can't see anyone else talking about it...

Death to the droid.

Does look like an awfully large font - sure you didn't accidentally change the size yourself?

Then again, on my 1680x1050 screen I can only see 2.5 organic results... but 10 ads out of 11 total are visible.

Deputy Chief Command 01-10-2014 09:18 AM

hahaah, you fool, you changed the font yourself, idiot

lucas131 01-10-2014 09:20 AM

ctrl+0 ... original size ... it is really on your side :winkwink:

PornDude 01-10-2014 09:22 AM

Slappin Fish, you are an idiot. Thank you.

This can kill something called as Organic Traffic

Whoooooo...! If this is applied globally; no one would bother to do SEO anymore. Because even if you are ranked on page 1; you still have to struggle a lot :(

baddog 01-10-2014 09:49 AM

man, oh man, oh man

Nottingtonbase 01-10-2014 09:53 AM
