Hmmm seems to work fine. The boxes are getting slammed right now tho.. Ill check into this and see whats up.. Thanks

LuSiD 03-05-2003 06:44 PM

All the problems have been corrected. That issue shouldn't come up again, but if it does, please let us know. Also, we are looking for more webmasters to push some traffic to us. One of you out there has been pushing an extreme amount of traffic to us already, and this has assisted us greatly in working some bugs out of the system. So, to that one person out there (you know who you are), thanks for your support. I hope it helps bring in a lot of cash for you (which it will since you signed up for every affiliate we are providing... tell us if you bank from it!). :Graucho :2 cents: :thumbsup

Looks nice, a little more text for each site would increase the chance to get listed in SE though... :2 cents:

Nysus 03-05-2003 07:08 PM

Hey, .. I had same idea in my head for about a year.. Congrats on getting it together.. Mind you, not requiring an email address is pretty shafty considering you know you'll get people with spam email lists sending traffic, and sponsors won't know the people have spammed.. You guys might end up taking the heat.. and especially if you can't direct authorities to whomever spammed..

:2 cents:

Cheers,
Matt

Nysus 03-05-2003 07:15 PM

Wow. LOL.

I just noticed "This marketing technique is Patent-Pending." .. Didn't realize you could patent the idea of cross-linking databases......

we have already taken into account the spam factor and we can easily guard our site from it on the backend without a webmaster email but for other purposes we are adding that so we may contact webmasters who are sending us alot of traffic :winkwink: we saw your post a few weeks back and thought it was alil close to home so we launched early, thanx for the post tho

Guard your site from spam? First off, that's not possible - and I really hope you don't really believe you want to stop the spamming from happening..

And what post of mine did you see? I'm curious and confused?!? Also, competition is healthy, so even if I was to start something similar it shouldn't get you all defensive. :)

Cheers,
Matt

when i say stop spam we can simply block refering urls such as hotmail mailboxing, yahoo pretty much any email system not to mention we have the webmasters affiliate ID which we can view at anytime just as any user could just by looking in the URL.. we are in no way going to be able to stop every bit of spam that might come to our site but can put a good damper on it... furthermore aelinks.com was designed for SE traffic and TGP gallery spots to spread traffic out over a braod range of affiliates not just one affiliate per gallery just by placing the banner for aelinks.com and on the competition part i'm sure there will be copies of our site out there sooner or later but we would simply like everyone to use one place i mean we don't gain much from aelinks besides being one of the first ones to use the this means of marketing i'm not defensive about anything anyone may do to copy us for the the simple fact that it's the internet who is safe from being copied :winkwink:

once again anyone that should need to contact me please do for traffic trades or information on content for the sites already listed

I have added an email address field into the webmaster signup process. If everyone who has already signed up could send their email address, along with the unique ID they signed up with, to ICQ 132514337, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again to all who have signed up. Hope it is very profitable to you.

C) we offer more FREE PICS 19000+

D) we have made it easier for webmasters to market thru us

D) we offer a popup free browser for FREE to the users

F) we have many more things in development for aelinks to give webmasters more options and even allow single sites with no affiliate program to pay on a PPC to be listed

we have looked at adultreviews.net and although the 2 sites are alike in some cases they are very different as you can see from what i said above

we also give a big round of applause to adultreviews for going thru and reviewing each site something we do not plan to offer cause we feel most user would never use the information other then the sign up cost

HGrocer 03-05-2003 09:02 PM

NICE!!! :winkwink:

jojojo 03-05-2003 09:11 PM

I was able to load the top frame once - now I can't load anything it's down for me :(

So without looking or ever looked at adultreviews - what is the catch? Do you guys get x% of our traffic or something?

jojojo 03-05-2003 09:14 PM

ok, I went and looked at adultreviews and I see they take 10% of the traffic.

So do you have to signup for every single sponsor on your site or is it customizable etc to cater to traffic types?

It sounds to me that this would convert traffic well - can somone post some experiences/results they have had with pograms like this - anyone done any tests or have numbers to share :Graucho

BadBoyBill4281 03-05-2003 09:39 PM

well with aelinks.com we don't take 10% of anyones traffic as you can see from the image i am going to post we have seen very little traffic come to our affiliate ID's all we do is give you a place to insert your ID once you do that and place a banner your set the user gets to our site and any signups from them you see not us we send our own traffic to get our own signups we have yet to send alot of our own traffic with our ID but will soon we are already sending thousands of hits for the webmasters already signed up to our program to affiliates as far as signing up for sponsors you have to do that one your own we give you links to all the ones we have listed on aelinks we just ask that you use the link we post so we get a webmaster referal which shouldn't matter to you cause you still see the same % or signup money it's just a way to help us with charges by signing up under us if your not already signed up for a sponsor

so heres some of the sites i could get in statsremote and what we have done in the last 24 hours

First of all, the webmasters are not our only source of traffic. We are being placed on search engines and purchasing traffic as we speak. All of those signups will come to us just as most websites out there do that use affiliate programs; however, we figure that by allowing the webmasters to push our site using a unique ID and sending their information on to the affiliates instead of our own, we are providing a VERY excellent reason for webmasters to use our site as an advertising tool. And yes, the referrals created by signing up webmasters is a large part of why we are providing this service, but it isn't the only reason. Adult webmasters need to come together in a unity to help each other out. GFY is the perfect example of a site that does this. It brings everyone together. Basically, by providing the sponsor signups directly to the webmaster instead of giving out percentages and all of that nonsense, we are trying to appeal to webmasters and assist in building their empire WITH us. The more we all help each other out even with the smallest thing like we are doing (because to be honest, this "controversial" sponsor signup system isn't really hurting us much, and we are hoping that Persian Kitty is seeing some returns on it because that means we are doing a good job), the more money we will all make in the long run. No one can do it on their own in this business as we all know...

So, in summary, we really are just trying to help others out and we're not breaking our own necks doing it. We are doing just fine so far even though we aren't seeing a dime from traffic sent by webmasters that have signed up for all of the affiilates... that money is theirs, and IMHO, if you can send 10,000 users to a site with a simple text link every day, you deserve all of the return it makes! And NOT a percentage. It is a very large experiment because it really is quite a new idea, but I don't see how it could fail, especially in the eyes of the webmasters that sign up to use it. It WILL be successful for everyone that is a part.

As far as trust factor goes, when a user comes to our site using your ID and clicks to preview or join an affiliate site, YOUR affiliate ID does appear in the URL after clicking through. Try it out. It works like a charm. It isn't something that you just have to take on blind faith. The URL alone proves that the system is real and WILL work for you if you give it a chance.

Also, to the webmasters that have signed up and the future webmasters that will hopefully sign up soon, we will be providing stats for you on what clicks you've received, etc. It isn't a part of the deal right now, but it has only to be programmed (by me! yay!) and everyone will be able to see more in-depth of how many clicks they are getting through our site.

:thumbsup

[1] - Thats called Orgy
[2] - GFY is all about bashing others and releasing steam - not getting together and helping eachother (and if any of you dumbasses thinks differently then... :321GFY ). only other thing GFY is for - is spamming your shit either directly or through your SIG - like my beautiful SIG down below promoting my traffic management and toplist services and other stuff :Graucho
[3] Do you gurantee in signup you will not change this policy? or give a very long prior notice before doing so? I didn't see any terms&Condition page on your webmasters page.

Its nice to see new sites and services out there regardless if its totally new or not. any new thing is welcome (as long as its not more free porn :1orglaugh )

Hehe, thanks for your first two humorous comebacks. Well said. :thumbsup

On the third note, we are fully guaranteeing that this policy will remain, and if it does happen to require modification in such a way that will harm webmasters (which I understand your concerns completely), we will be sure to give MUCH prior notice. The last thing we need is thousands of webmasters posting about how they got screwed over by us (which happens to many people it seems, and the results are never positive for the victim of the complaints... which I agree with completely, of course... moral of the story is don't fuck up). It is a large factor that makes our site what it is... the amazing webmaster system we are providing is the guts of what AELinks.com represents, and we have no plans to EVER change that. But to ease your mind, if it ever comes to that, you will know long before it happens. GUARANTEED. :thumbsup

Thanks for the suggestion on a terms and conditions page. It seems it slipped by us. So, thank you many times. :winkwink: We'll work on providing a rock solid terms and conditions page that everyone can agree with.

[4] your welcome :2 cents:

jojojo 03-06-2003 02:32 PM

I'm still confused.
What exactly do you get out of this?
You are saying that 100% of the links carry our linking codes - so there is not one single traffic leak or no % that carries your links??

Nobody does something for nothing which is what you are claiming.

Are webmasters required to sign up for every program promoted on your site?

LuSiD 03-06-2003 03:09 PM

No, you are not required to sign up for every affiliate, but if you are too much of a lazy ass to do so, then we will get those sign ups from the affiliates you are not a part of. Simple as that. We aren't going to just send traffic to the affiliates without an ID on it. Our ID gets put on it at that point and time. If that bothers you, then I suggest you get off your lazy ass and sign up for all of the affiliates... doing so will not only increase your income, but it will allow you to use our "get something for nothing" site, which IS what we are claiming.

LuSiD 03-07-2003 05:38 AM

Well, the site has been active for two days now, and from our stats, we are getting around 15,000 uniques and 150,000 total page views per day. The top of the page is looking a little blank, and we're wondering if anyone out there is wanting to purchase the space for a banner ad. This is still just a side thought, and we aren't sure if we are going to implement it or not as of right now, but there's no reason to implement it if no one is interested. So, if anyone is interested, contact Bill at ICQ 128496425 or email [email protected]. Thanks. :thumbsup
