So he went on stage to push a new TV format (curved wide screen), and the prompter fucked up, and he ran of stage. No big deal. Most everyone is scared to speak in public and I'm sure the guy's completely embarrassed. I bet the comedy kings will have fun with that video for a while...

the prompter didn't fuck up, he went off the prompter queues. he does however try to blame it on the prompter so his asskissers can kiss more ass

I'm surprised at the guys inability to just talk. That speaks volumes about him as an individual. He's a flake.

I don't think this makes him a moron. I'm seeing a lot of misleading titles on sites talking about this. The guy looked like he froze and didn't know what to do. He didn't storm out, he didn't lose his mind he just froze from what I see. Doesn't make him a moron in my books.

Not at all. Public speaking is not easy, but Bay... could have at least attempted a graceful exit.

Almost every person there was there in part to see him speak, and I'm sure all of them would have understood. Grace under fire. No matter how shitty things seem, grace under fire.

People remember things like that for a while, but they never ever forget when someone folds in to pressure and falls like a house of cards.

pretty funny watching all the smartphone cameras pop up right after he begins to fumble.

For me it was the coolest thing in the movie, but I always wondered why it wasn't Megan Fox in that scene. Oh well, still a beautiful, beautiful shot.

it LOOK and SOUNDS like Transformers (No I mean it REALLY looks and sounds like Transformers), but its a Peter Berg movie. It's just as cheesy and cliched as Transformers and is just as cool to watch. Just check your brain at the door.

Put me in front of 5 people and I freeze up. I cannot imagine speaking in front of a crowd that big.

Very true. Had he just followed the script and the bit went off without a hitch it likely would have gotten very little publicity. Now it is all over the place.
