Need script that shows paths users takes? Fris?

I need a script that I can run on my apache logs or just include a php file on my footer, that will show paths the users takes.

I need to be able to see where people are going etc.

So it would show

1000 users went index then index2, then click.php or
750 users went index then index2 then main.php then click.php or
500 users went index then index2 or
etc

Hmm i think you can use piwik for that

KillerK 01-05-2014 03:43 PM

As far as I knew piwik was like google, in that it would break out the paths. I dont want to see the top hits pages, I want to see what different paths people are taking.

So I can try to change things around and test sending them to different start places.

google analytics will do that

GA would do what you want, or for a self hosted thing maybe mint or some other log analyzer.

freecartoonporn 01-05-2014 10:43 PM

if you want something cutsom, use cookies, referers, mysql and you have it.

Google Analytics already does this and has for over a year. Why install something just for that when you can get that AND incredible amounts of other data about your users and their actions.

_Richard_ 01-07-2014 04:21 PM

does GA still have security concerns?

Why 01-07-2014 04:40 PM

ive not heard of any security concerns with GA, past or present. please enlighten or link me.
