Flash Gordon, Logans Run, Battlestar Galactica back on the big screen!

Attention Classic Sci-Fi lovers in Montreal...

The Scotiabank Threatre (Cineplex) in Montreal is having their annual "Great Digital Film Festival" from Jan 31 to Feb 6, and the line up this year is pretty cool

http://www.cineplex.com/Events/DigitalFilmFest

Akira
The Avengers
Batman (Tim Burton)
Battlestar Galactica (1978!)
Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure
Brazil (Terry Gilliam)
The Dark Knight
Fisher King
Flash Gordon (1980)
Ghost in the Shell
Lock Stock and Two Smiking Barrels
Logans Run (1976)
Monty Python and the Holy Grail
On Her Majesty's Secret Service
Planet of the Apes (1968 I think)
SpiderMan (2002)
Superman (1978 with Christopher Reeve)
Thunderball
Tron

Personally I plan to see Logan's Run, Holy Grail, Superman, and BSG. I'd love love to see these on the big screen again.

Logan's Run is great.

also have you noticed the the city is run by Microsoft (well the computers are nuts and have gone wrong) plus everyone has a sort of net where you can do on-line dating.

Also they get rid of you once you get too old. I have pointed that out to my mates mum, but she disagrees with me.

Flash Gordon (1980) is cool.

For those who are not from the UK, the chap who puts his hand in the tree trunk and dies was a presenter at the time on a childrens bbc tv show bluepeter and thats why he is in the film.

Though you talking about reboots.

I have the original Battlestar Galatica series on DVD. It might have been amazing for it's time, but compared to the new series and what's on TV now it's just so damn campy. TV from the 1980s is funny to watch now.

Sam Jones is the best part of Ted
