Anyone who doesn't sea the parallels between the territorial posturing between countries over disputed islands in the South China Sea and the lead up to World War I needs a history lesson.

edit: Those of you saying the current war started in September 2001 are typical of the US centric, world revolves us mentality that will leave the US completely unprepared for the real diplomatic challenges of the early to mid 21st century.

Even one single Chinese killed by an opposing country, it will lead to a bigger tension.
