What was your favorite/best NYE party?
 

I was just talking about this yesterday and curious to see who had some crazy stories from places or parties they went to for prior NYE's.

I've been to a number of house parties and bars, but probably this past one is in my top 3. Bunch of friends went to the beach and celebrated at a popular bar there. Great time, lots of good food and awesome drinks... only down side was the 7 hours of driving in less than 24 hours :1orglaugh

The most memorable one for me is NYE 1999. Two friends and I were going to head to NYC to see the ball drop for the year 2000. Hours before we leave, our one friend tells us that he wants to bring is girlfriend, we object but he insists that if she doesn't go, then he won't go. He calls her and as we are outside waiting for them, our friend comes out the door in tears... she DUMPED him and he now refused to go. He stayed in and cried while we went out. Could have been amazing...

NYE parties have a habit of being over-hyped for me. But in saying that, i have had a few nights to remember over the years.

Wouldn't say one particular night stood out more than the rest though...

A night where we bar and party hopped. Hit about eight bars and went to four parties. Each one rocked. Had to have AAA come get us that night.

My own partys are always the best at NYE
