It has been said by someone owning paysites that bitcoin payments were few or non existent. Also bitcoin price goes up and down so you should cash out on current price, otherwise you may lose money (well you may gain money as well so lets assume it equals out).
Anyway it takes some work hours to manage those bitcoin transactions, maybe those hours may be spent in order to get more CC paying customes and maybe that would be more money in the end for the company.

As for recurring, paysites usually have non recurring CC memberships as well anyway (bigger price or 6-12 months).

If someone wants to pay for a membership with bitcoins for a month that's fine with me. I'll end up making more off that $25-$30 1 month membership...than I ever would off a 4-6+ month membership.

And there's no way to do a chargeback with bitcoin.

To be honest, the amount of free content they have is enough for me to wank to.

the more option the better. and the more sites/companies will understand that they need to provide what their members or their affiliates want the better. the others will go down the drain it is just evolution.

This is nice for merchants, but not so nice for buyers. People may prefer to buy with method they can chargeback later just in case.
