Are u having trouble starting stats remote?
 

It's been over two days now and it doesn't start for shit. wtf?

Working fine for me. Make a backup of your statsremote data directory and upgrade java/reinstall statsremote, is what I would try.

Apologies to all but yes we can confirm there is a problem with starting
StatsRemote. It does indeed seem to be an issue triggered by 2014 but the
precise cause is not yet known.

workaround: set your comp date to 31 dec 2013, start SR, change your comp mdate back. Takes about 5 mins to sort itself out (while open), but you get your up to date stats :thumbsup

I haven't noticed a problem but then again mines been running nonstop for about 4 days

Glad to see I'm not the only one

Stupid 2014. Glad to see it is being worked on. StatsRemote is always quick with fixes. Love being able to check GFY, instead of opening the zillionth ticket, when the issue is known :)

Still don't work

There's a work around for now. Set back your computer date to December 31, 2013 - start StatsRemote - when you get a notice that your time is wrong - change it back to the current date and continue. The today tab will show sales from Dec 31, 2013 - but with the next refresh everything is back to how it should be.
