    Can you promote a dating site when you have no content?

    I put together a gay site, very very niched and no one else is doing it. I've got a little over 1,000 people signed up but they are free. I just spammed Craigslist pretty much to spread the word but all my accounts are now flagged and I can't do more.

    I have no content and its kind of an embarrassing niche, like guys with herpes who beat off to their aunts panties or something. So it's hard to find guys willing to model for almost nothing.

    But it's a niche that the members CRAVE and once its a busy site i think the members will pay anything to meet other members. Any suggestions on how I can promote it these early days?

      You don't need content to promote a dating site. Most people just buy traffic and send away.

                  I would just build up a fake facebook profile with a hot guy (a couple of pics to make it look legit) and go from there. Make it seem like they have to go to the offer to see more naughty pics of him or something. Social Media does wonders..
