At least with Vegas you don't have the worry of a mob of religious zealots protesting in front of the conference. It was that way for my first show back in 2001, it was the Cybernet Expo in New Orleans and there was this crazed group protesting in front of the show with signs about porn and the devil etc.. the news media was there as well. I was new to the industry and thinking to myself what the hell did I get myself into?
