Rogers is starting...could be a good game

dyna mo 12-29-2013 08:11 AM

checking my picks, i can't recall who i went with.

Magnetron 12-29-2013 08:17 AM

If the Chicago defense fails to make takeaways leading to additional scores in order to compensate for Cutler being in as QB, we are doomed.

I'm a Bears fan.

dyna mo 12-29-2013 08:18 AM

well, i have gb picked, i usually go with the home team in major games this late in the season though.

i'm surprised gb is favored in this match-up

Yeah I was surprised too. Soon as they announced Rogers was in GB had the points.

he plays with such a chip on his shoulder i'm sure the game plan is for him to throw deep often and prolly planning on 3 td passes.

+, was researching this rivlary, he's 8-2 against the bears.

problem is the bears d will prolly be zoning in on him to give him a nice welcome-back bop or 3.

aztecboi2003 12-29-2013 09:14 AM

I'd go with the bears as they have more weapons on offense. I think Rodgers will be a little bit rusty today. Both teams can run the ball but I think the bears wide receivers will make more plays than the packers receivers.

Rodgers is great and Cutler does not do well against the Packers. Hopefully that's different today :) I was liking McCown when he filled in.

how's that bears d line up front? can they get to rodgers? if he falls on that shoulder, this game can change in a snap!

The Bears can get to him with J. Peppers and McClellin hopefully.

well, hrmm. i'm tied up in a pretty important pool and this game might be the difference maker. hopefully we'll all pick the same team so the w-l will be moot. looking forward to watching this one though. i get a kick outta both of these teams.

:thumbsup

Good luck :) I'm off to some pre-game eating and enjoying a good day of football with some family and friends. :thumbsup

Ditto. Wish he would have finished out the season. Hoping he is back next year as the starter.

Rogers played great :) Really good game. I'm going to cry for a few hours now that the Bears are out :(

To be honest, I was hopeful but really didn't see the Packers winning this game. Rogers was a lot more mobile that I thought he was going to be.

Good luck in the post season. My parents have a Green Bay bird house on their property. Tomorrow I'm going to paint it blue and orange. I told them it was bad karma and if GB won it was either coming down or getting painted.

He's a great QB and had a great game. Some weird plays happened in the game but it's over now. At least I don't have to worry about stressing during the post season. My Sundays are free again :)

Magnetron 12-29-2013 05:50 PM

Bears defense needed those points from that forced Rodgers fumble, but ...... everyone stood around with their thumbs up their butts except for one Packer with enough awareness to at least run to the ball and pick it up.

Great game.

Great game.

I know. I was screaming at the tv for the Bears to pick that up. Everyone was just standing around.

Magnetron 12-29-2013 06:07 PM

That's how it always goes with Cutler ..... Bears usually win if the defense pads the score with additional TDs. Been like this for 5 years.

So looking forward to a new starting QB.

Magnetron 12-29-2013 06:11 PM

I'm psyched to watch Orton in for Romo tonight. He's the QB we should have stayed with.

Rogers played great. Cobb deserves a lot of credit for a strong first game back as well. He didn't seem to have any rust at all running go routes in the cold on frozen dirt.

digitaldivas 12-29-2013 09:03 PM

Broncos <if they don't fuck up and Seatlle in the Superbowl :2 cents:

GAMEFINEST 12-29-2013 09:07 PM
