Car just had a couple of scratches on before trumpton came and ripped it apart with their fancy toys.

Speed kills, that's for sure. Luckily for him.

When I say 'walked away' I didn't mean to suggest he marched up the road looking for an open Burger King...

there's no news that i can drum up that mentions the extent of the driver's injuries other than he survived.

It does sound like they are talking about 2 people from another car or maybe shocked witnesses - However, it turns out they ARE talking about the car you are seeing in the pics...

yes, i read that earlier and again when i checked for updates. there's nothing about the extent of injuries.

'First Aid at the scene' means they walked away...

In the UK its a euphemism for 'they are fit and well' - Maybe not in the US.....

first aid here means minor injuries, usually, but i would want a news article to at least continue- first aid at the scene was adminstered and the driver was given a band-aid for the cut on his elbow, etc. but i just found it odd that there were no details.

It does sound strange - Also because all of a sudden there are 2 of them when they started with just the driver in the headline.....

I am guessing the post went through the car like a cheese wire and it stopped them slowly enough that they didn't get the usual injuries caused by hitting a solid object...

Its not that hard to believe, far more unrealistic things happen.. It just says that car was hit in the right spots, lucky for them.
