lax shooter pleads not guity... discuss...
http://www.cnn.com/2013/12/26/justic...g-arraignment/
so they caught this guy red handed killing a mother fucker and trying to kill others...had to shoot the cock sucker to make him stop... how can he even plead 'not guilty'? |
lol, You know why, its stupid question, its the way the courts work.
|
Because this is the New America, where no one is responsible for their actions...
|
because in america, you are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
|
Not guilty of the crime(s) he was charged with
|
Always pissed when these criminals pull that shit. Those ones that are caught red handed on camera doing a crime and they plead not guilty, you fucking kidding me.
|
so video trumps the legal process these days?
|
5'4" and 110lbs.
|
Discuss what?
Do you ever see anyone ever pleading guilty to charges? NO After pre-trial he will plead guilty to lesser charges I'm sure he will still get life. |
it's odd that peeps are willing to give up their individual rights in favor of video.

That's standard. They plead not guilty, and hope that they can settle to a lesser charge before going to court, or getting off due to a technicality or something.

slippery slope to think it's ok to not let this guy have his right as an individual, especially in 2014 with big business and the lack of government caring for or about individual rights, next is you. it's not unlike max hardcore and the 1st amendment, i don't like his material and he's not my first choice of being a 1st amendment champion, nevertheless. |
97% of fed cases don't make it to court due to plea bargains taken because the alternative is extremely long sentences. Due process has been dead for a while

Guilty pleas last year resolved 97% of all federal cases that the Justice Department prosecuted to a conclusion. The shrinking number of federal criminal defendants choosing to go to trial is "extraordinarily troubling," said Nancy Gertner, a former federal judge appointed by President Bill Clinton and now a professor at Harvard Law School. Many basic protections guaranteed by the Bill of Rights and subsequent federal court decisions "are geared to a trial situation....." it's unfortunate you think it's dead when it's the keystone of our judicial system. you don't get due process if you CHOOSE to plead guilty. and that's exactly my point in bringing up due process in this thread. this individual is choosing to use the system that is afforded to all of us in the bill of rights. for people here to disagree with that is tantamount to choosing to give up personal rights. |
