Do you 'Starve' yourself, the day before Xmas dinner?

I am 'EXPECTED' to join family tomorrow, and eat 15 times what I would normally eat, on any given day, but because the calendar says its 'December 25th' apparently my stomach should stretch to a HUGE meal, and nibbles, bites, drinks, and... well... 'Shit...'

So I dont eat or drink ANYTHING today...

You ?

SlammedMedia 12-24-2013 07:40 AM

I can't understand at all what you're trying to say.

Best-In-BC 12-24-2013 07:41 AM

I starve my self all the time, its how sitting on your ass and not being fat works.

Actually no, since starving yourself won't really help you eat more when the time comes. Just try to eat a bit less on that same day.

PR_Glen 12-24-2013 07:49 AM

I have the unique ability to eat gigantic amounts at all times, so no need to prepare.. hehe

beerptrol 12-24-2013 07:53 AM

Nope, I just make sure I take a nice healthy dump the night before or the morning of Christmas to make room for all the food!

Well yes, it takes time to shrink your stomach, it should also be noted I take vitamin supplements but no, it doesn't make me eat more, I got self control.

So skipping a meal or two before a big meal will shrink your stomach now?? i don't think so..

I have been doing intermittent fasting for a year and a half now, one thing i know.. i can eat a tonne more than i used to. While not getting gigantic in the process anyway heh

ErectMedia 12-24-2013 08:18 AM

I eat like a pig and gain nothing. Metabolism of a crack head. :thumbsup

Spunky 12-24-2013 08:19 AM

I avoid the fillers and eat just the good stuff

seeandsee 12-24-2013 08:41 AM

I try to not eat for 18hours (sleep hours + wake hours) and eat in next max 12 hours after that, it called 60/40diet and i like it... You lost around 2kg-6kg and also you are not that hungry...

kuerten 12-24-2013 08:43 AM

Looking at your pic thats normal meals for your fat drunk ass.

Markul 12-24-2013 08:47 AM

Nah, we celebrated xmas yesterday with my daughter and today again - twice the food, twice the fun :) worry about weight later hah

bronco67 12-24-2013 10:06 AM

I practice intermittent fasting, so it's normal for me to go 18 to 18 hours with no food. By the time I eat at about 2pm, I'll be going on 20 hours fasted.

CourtneyR 12-24-2013 10:09 AM

No way! Making stuffed portobello mushrooms tonight.

TheSquealer 12-24-2013 10:13 AM

Lol @ shrink your stomach.

Being "full" is not a physical experience, the sensation of feeling fully sated is a simple trick of the mind to stop you from eating more.

The physical sensation you think you feel is not real. Don't believe me? Eat very very clean and fewer calories for a period of time and then eat whatever you want that would normally give you that "oh my fucking god, I can't eat another bite" feeling and it won't happen.... because your body wants more calories and isn't activating the mechanism to make you feel sated. If eating less made your stomach "shrink", then in this case you would eat far less and feel fuller faster which is never the case.

goodgirl is working on opening a new business venture in 2014 so she has been practicing which means I am her crash test dummy.

Bread made from spent grains of a pale ale

Thin mints she made from the flour she made from malted barley

Mustards, cookies, pretzels . . . they have been a hit. Luckily, there is a lot of fiber in these so you actually lose weight from eating them.

It was one thing when she was baking her breads in the oven, but she got a bread maker yesterday and is going friggin' nuts with it.

I love it, but one of the worst things we can put in our mouth. I try to stay away from breads as much as possible, along with milk (dairy), juices (unless using a juicer), etc.

That's the thing, we rarely ever buy bread but we have access to a lot of spent grain so she started playing with it and making her own flour; with the planned end result being the sale of these items. I just have to deal with tasting the experiments while she dials it in.

Some work as a great laxative with all the grains in them. CS would love it. :1orglaugh

This is why i stopped eating any kind of grains some of them can make you gassy all day.

loreen 12-24-2013 01:21 PM

Actually, my GFY 'Character' aside, I agree with you, and only really ever eat until I have had enough...

But, in the UK, Xmas is more like Thanksgiving in the USA, where you are kinda 'Expected' to visit family, and consume a HUGE meal, that someone has 'lovingly prepared' for you...

& thats kinda my point - If I DONT FNISH everything on my plate, then I have 'offended' the cook...

Weird shit... Weird...

JockoHomo 12-24-2013 03:48 PM

The average load of cum has only 7 calories so I am fine...I can eat all day and never get full!

Happy Holidays!!

The brewery we have been using loves the idea and the samples we bring over. This is going to be a cool little cottage industry as breweries and tasting rooms are popping up all around us.

Yeah, just a good amount of exercise takes care of this.

Same here.
But you can always come up with an excuse, if necessary :)

She put peppermint in the chocolate before lightly dipping . . . . suffice it to say, they taste even better than they look.

Zworsofmi 12-30-2013 11:07 AM

That looks yummy! I ain't conscious of what I eat. Lucky me, I too have fast metabolism and don't mind if I'll have a fat tummy after eating since it will be back to normal after I poop! LOL! Food all the way all day!

franck-affil4you 12-30-2013 04:39 PM

I eat everything under the sun when holiday comes.
Diet resumes after New Year' lol

LeRoy 12-30-2013 05:10 PM

I never starve myself :)

Elli 12-30-2013 06:32 PM

No starving here, but I don't eat breakfast on Christmas/turkey day. I start the day with a coffee and a smoothie, then coast/grave until people arrive with appies. Then dinner. Then dessert. Then big fucking breakfast the next morning. Then grazing on leftovers. If I go too long without any food, my inner bitch gets extremely noticeable, so I have to be careful. :)
