Password protection setup question
 

What do you all allow when it comes to users per different ips per time?

I am using Sentry and have it setup that 1 user can use 10 different ips in 2 hours.

Is that to much leeway? Should I shorten the different ips or lower the time?

why would one user have 10 ip's in 2hrs? lol


if he is on dialup, maybe he gets DC like 3 times per hour?

That's the default setting. It sounds high to me to and I wanted to hear how others are setup.

4 in 2 hours sounds like a reasonable number.. after all, if it is legit the customer will e-mail you and you can analyze the situation from there. Better then the loss of bandwidth money.
